How is this different from a cookie banner?
Most cookie banners record a click in a log nobody can later verify, and trust tags to behave. NoIdMe is built around proof and enforcement:
- Proof: every choice writes to a per-tenant, hash-chained, signed §6(10) receipt — not a log line.
- Enforcement: noidme.js can block/quarantine requests at the network level until consent, and your backend can gate processing on live consent.
- Lawful basis, not just consent: the model keeps the §6/§7 taxonomy intact — consent is one basis, never the only one.
More on what we do and don't claim: Trust.
